Product details

Cinch slip lead is 59" in length, and made with a 0.27”, durable rock climbing rope featuring a padded leather handle - the trusted choice of climbers for a secure grip on your pup! Grab the cinch slip lead for quick and easy walks or training sessions.

  • Cinch Lead Design - Just slip the loop over your dog's head, and this cinch slip lead becomes a "collar." Great for dog lovers, trainers, and anyone who prefers a leash that doesn't need a separate collar.
  • Strong and Sturdy - Made with rock climbing rope, this climbing-inspired cinch slip lead is designed for dogs up to 90 pounds (330 pounds of pulling force). Highly versatile, suitable for hikes, beach walks, swims, training sessions, and all your outdoor adventures.
  • Comfortable Grip - The widened leather handle is soft yet durable to hold.
  • Detail-oriented - Featuring an aluminum ring, double stitched and wrapped in leather at connection points adding strength and beauty to the cinch slip lead.
  • Double Stoppers for Better Control and Adjustability - Silicone stoppers can be positioned to limit how tight the loop can become, preventing it from constricting too much.
  • Easy Control for Your Dog - When they move ahead, the cinch slip lead tightens; when they slow down, it loosens. This cinch slip is often used in dog training to teach dogs proper walking behavior.
  • Three Colors Available - It is also available in three colors to match your dog’s style.

Features:
  • Cinch lead design functions as a collar and leash
  • Two silicone stoppers slide for the perfect fit
  • Strong rock climbing rope
  • Soft and widened leather handle for easy walks

Stays in the proper place!

I have a 2 year old Bichon Frise rescue. Shes the sweetest dog ever. But she pulled so much when walking her. Watched some trainer videos and decided to get a slip lead, the 1/2 nylon rope kind. I thought it was a miracle! I had so much better control of the dog. But after many miles I realized that thinner would probably be better, since it was hard to keep the thick rope in the right placement on her neck. To be honest, I've only taken her on one walk with this new paracord leash, but we came across several other dogs and squirrels and this thin leash is my new miracle leash!

Seems pricey for what it is, but totally worth it! If you're considering this leash, I recommend you buy it!

Great for larger dogs in training

I have a 65lb Golden Retriever who's been a chore to train, specifically to walk calmly on a lead. It should come as no surprise that pulling was a problem. After working with a couple trainers (and watching the Dog Whisperer), it became clear that while their approaches could be different, the tools were the same, which is to say, they all use slip leads and I was still trying to use a harness. I initially bought a pretty standard 1/2" lead that worked...but only when it stayed in place. It was like it couldn't find any grip on the fur around her head. The lead was slipping to the base of her neck instead of staying behind her ears at it should. I then realized that the leads that the trainers had used were far thinner that what I had, so I wondered if perhaps a thinner lead might do the trick.
My friends I can tell you it did!
This product, while marketed towards small dogs, was exactly what I needed. It is thin enough so that it gets under her thick neck fur to stay where it should right behind her ears, which allowed me to communicate with her without fear of choking her or causing damage to airway. This lead, along with a trainers guidance and consistency, has been the missing peice to happy, pull free walks.
It should be observed that I do worry that she might bite through it, but so far she's mouthed it pretty good, but hasn't tried to actively destroy it. If that happens it's toast.
I guess I should buy a backup, just in case!

Best slip for a small dog or training!

One of the best slip leashes I have ever had for a small dog. The paracord is firm and it stays high and tight in place. I have been looking for the perfect slip leash for such a long time and have never been able to find one until I had this leash.

My dog is a service dog and he works perfectly in it and it is great for training!

High quality lead with nice handle too

Our groomer recommended getting a slip leash for brushing our husky at home without a hassle and because that's what they use on him when he's on the table being groomed. I really like the two sliding pieces that keep the leash from going too tight (again our dog is super stubborn) AND that there is a 2nd adjustable stopper to keep it from being too loose (our dog is also smart enough to slip out of a leash that goes too loose). As an added bonus the leather handle is comfortable for walks too. My new favorite leash.
